Thejus Engineering College is leading the educational sector since
its inception in 2009, providing the best education in many streams of
engineering. There are, currently, four B.Tech and three M.Tech programs
offered by the College. The departments of undergraduate courses include Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering,
Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The
postgraduate department offers courses such as Geo-Technical Engineering,
Structural Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. As an
ISO 9001:2015 certified institution, the campus is committed to provide quality
education to the students. Thejus Engineering College helps them in attaining world
class professional standards.
Mechanical engineering was developed during the industrial revolution
in Europe. This engineering field requires a vast
understanding of core concepts including, mechanics, kinematics,
thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis. Mechanical
Engineers are also employed in fields such as composites, mechatronics, and
nanotechnology.
This field of Civil Engineering deals with design,
construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment.
Masters degree in two major specialisations of Civil engineering which is
Geotechnical Engineering and Structural Engineering are also provided by the
Department.
In this area, special emphasis is given to
students in emerging areas of IT along with the university curriculum. The
Department also gives quality training in the Masters degree. A close rapport is maintained with researchers of computational
interest in other Universities within the country and abroad by the Department,
helping the students to gain knowledge in the new developments in technology.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with the
finest and excellent faculty, guide the students towards their desired job profiles. Individual attention is given to each of the students
and they are encouraged to take up socially responsible projects. The
Department has also conducted research projects in harnessing and utilizing
solar power thus trying to enhance the quality of the harnessed power.
